Valerie St-Jean

Executive Director, Sales & Operations

Ms. St-Jean received a Bachelor's degree in management from Hautes Études Commerciales de Montréal (HEC), majoring in marketing, management and international trade.

 

As the Director of Sales and Marketing for MDM, tourist management and logistics, Ms. St-Jean was responsible for instituting a number of marketing and promotional strategies designed to raise the profile of the organization. Also involved in the development of a new business strategy more focused on adapting to market imperatives, Ms. St-Jean was responsible for substantially increasing the brand familiarity of both MDM and its clients.

 

In June of 2004, Ms. St-Jean joined ROI as a Researcher and Account Executive. Drawing on her education and experience in market analysis, she was instrumental in revising and upgrading the company's research methodologies, and has been heavily involved in the implementation of the company's new Customer Relations Management (CRM) system. Ms. St-Jean specializes in Canadian and European markets, and specifically in identifying companies within these markets that are currently in expansion or acquisition mode. Presently the Executive Director of Sales and Operations, Ms. St-Jean remains responsible for a number of ROI's major client accounts, including a variety of public-sector clients in Quebec and Western Europe.
