Over the past 8 years, Mr. Nakata has assisted companies with inward/outward investment projects across Japan, Asia Pacific, Europe and North America. Mr. Nakata further worked for the Osaka Perfectural Government, organizing a series of investment seminars with the International Business Organization of Osaka, in promoting Japanese companies looking to expand to overseas markets.

Since August 2003, Mr. Nakata has worked in the field of investment prospecting by representing a major Asia-Pacific city in Japan. His responsibilities have been to identify companies in Japan considering foreign expansion. The sectors focused on within this role includes: bio-tech/life sciences; technology; electronics; telecommunications; financial, business services and high-value added projects.

Joining ROI as Managing Director, Japan in September 2007, Mr. Nakata provides strategic intelligence to the ROI research team and acts as the face of ROI clients seeking representation in Japan.
