A graduate of University College Cork, Ireland (BA) and INSEAD (MBA), Mr. Barry joined ROI as a partner in January 2009.

Mr. Barry began his career as a Credit Analyst for NatWest Markets in New York in 1988. He was an analyst for corporate finance proposals for large and medium-sized corporations specializing in the project finance area. Upon completion of his MBA in 1994, Mr. Barry was recruited as a Senior Advisor to the Minister for Defence and Marine in the Irish government. In this role he was responsible for implementing the political program of the government by dealing with senior bureaucrats at the national and European levels.

In 1998, Mr. Barry became Director of Innomedia, a Montreal-based research firm focused on consumer research. Mr. Barry was responsible for the finance and administration functions of the company. Prior to joining ROI, Mr. Barry was involved in numerous business investments in the private sector in North America and Europe.
